P. Diddy is left without a lawyer: the representative of the rapper accused of human trafficking made a frank statement

Rapper and producer P. Diddy (Sean Combs), who is accused of conspiracy to commit racketeering, trafficking, and transportation of persons for prostitution, is left without a lawyer. The star's representative Anthony Ricco officially withdrew his participation in the case.

The lawyer filed a petition with the court in New York, in which he stated that he could no longer continue to act as Sean Combs' defense attorney in this case, the Daily Star reports. In the motion filed on Friday, Ricco noted that "under no circumstances can he continue to serve effectively as Sean Combs' attorney."

A representative of the Star added that he would not provide any detailed information to explain his decision, but confirmed that prosecutors had been informed of the situation and had not raised any objections. Interestingly, despite Ricco's refusal to further represent him, the trial of P. Diddy, scheduled for May 2025, will go ahead unchanged.

According to the source, the negotiations between Ricco and the rapper's main lawyer, Mark Agnifilo, took place before the filing of the official motion. They discussed the possibility of changing the defense attorney.
