Paperna starred in a Russian TV series

Antonina Paperna, the eldest daughter of the famous Ukrainian actress Olha Sumska, who is ignoring the war in Ukraine and working in Russia, boasted of a new project that will bring more money to Russia. The traitor to Ukraine starred in the Russian version of the famous Turkish TV series Knock on My Door. However, few people liked the adaptation.

On Russian movie resources, it didn't even get five points out of a possible 10, and almost 5,000 viewers left their dissatisfied reviews. A post advertising the failed series appeared on Antonina Paperna's Instagram.

Sumkska's daughter called "Knock on my door in Moscow" a "great project." In the series, she played Alina, the protagonist's former lover. Others are trying to make her feel jealous. This is one of the key roles in the story, although not the main one.

According to the audience's assessment and reviews, the project seemed "bland" and did not impress them at all.

"What were the director's goals? If one wanted to make a typical Russian gloomy movie out of a super-popular contemporary series, they did a good job. There are no expressive characters, no decent acting, no memorable music, no quality cinematography, no integrity: nothing here and it's not worth looking for. It's a bland, dull work with wooden actors,"  a popular review that has garnered several hundred likes reads.

The series was produced by Mediaslovo in partnership with Gazprom-Media Holding, so the Kremlin will pay taxes on the money earned.

Earlier, Antonina Paperna was seen with her husband, a well-known Russian actor Vladimir Yaglych, in Moscow at the presentation of new films by the Russian service Kinopoisk. This website has been banned in Ukraine since 2017.

According to Olha Sumska, her daughter cannot return home. The reason for this remains unclear. The Ukrainian film star assured that the traitor "felt very bad" because of the war, apparently not enough to give up earnings in rubles and sponsorship from Russia.
