On New Year's Eve, Russia decided to remind the world that it is a terrorist state once again. On December 29, Ukrainians woke up to the sound of explosions. The Russian Federation launched a massive attack on Ukrainian cities. The hits were recorded in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Odesa, and Lviv.
Ukrainian stars did not remain silent, expressing their thoughts on Instagram in the morning. Some of them urged their followers to hide in shelters, others did not hold back their hatred of Russians, and some even appealed to Napoleon. OBOZ.UA has collected the most striking celebrity reactions.
Andrii Biedniakov
The host posted Instagram stories, writing a phrase that will probably resonate with every Ukrainian. He mentioned the French Emperor Napoleon, asking a rhetorical question, "Why didn't he burn Moscow to the ground?"
According to historical data, after defeating the Russians in the bloody Battle of Borodino in 1812, the French commander's army entered Moscow. However, the subjects of Tsar Alexander I had already fled, setting the city on fire. Almost two-thirds of Moscow burned down. Ukrainians, for their part, joke that Napoleon should have finished the job. Biedniakov also called for turning your rage into donations.
