Fitness trainer Maryna Borzhemska reacted to the death of her ex-husband, Ukrainian boxer Viacheslav Uzelkov. The life of the former WBA Inter-Continental, IBO International, and WBO Inter-Continental light heavyweight champion ended at the age of 45.

The woman honored the athlete's memory on her Instagram page. She noted that she was grateful to her ex-husband for the life stages she had gone through, despite all the hardships.

"Viacheslav Uzelkov, the father of my children, has passed away. Despite all the difficulties that we had, I am grateful to him for everything," Maryna Borzhemska wrote.

It should be noted that the Ukrainian Boxing Federation announced the death of Viacheslav Uzelkov on its Facebook page. The exact reason for the boxer's passing has not yet been revealed. However, it is known that in the spring of this year, the athlete underwent a complicated operation, as doctors diagnosed a blood clot in his heart.

Maryna Borzhemska was married to Viacheslav Uzelkov for 22 years. In 2018, the fitness trainer decided to end their relationship and filed for divorce. For a long time, the ex-couple hid the breakup, but later announced it on social media. The official union of the couple ended in a loud scandal.

During their 22 years of marriage, Maryna Borzhemska and Viacheslav Uzelkov became parents of two children, Robert and Olivia. After the divorce, the boxer did not keep in touch with his offspring.
