The legendary Ukrainian singer Nazariy Yaremchuk is the father of three children: sons Dmytro and Nazar and daughter Maria. Dmytro Yaremchuk spoke about the relationship between the singer's descendants and commented on the rumors surrounding the alleged father of Maria, who recently gave birth to her first child.
Dmytro Yaremchuk spoke about this in an interview with OBOZ.UA. According to the singer, he and his brother congratulated Maria on her son's birthday, but she did not respond to the message. The singer explained why this happened.
Nazariy Yaremchuk's sons have families of their own, and they got married on the same day (though it was Dmytro's second marriage, his first wife was Natalia, the daughter of Crimean politician Serhiy Kunitsyn). Both Nazariy and Dmytro have three children. The brothers do not see their sister Maria, who was born in Nazariy Yaremchuk's second marriage, very often, but, according to Dmytro, they do communicate from time to time, "The last time she wrote to me was in the spring. It concerned the copyright to some of my father's works. She asked if we had any objections to her using them in her work. We gave her permission."
Dmytro says that he and his brother congratulated Maria on the birth of her first child, "But she did not respond to our greeting. I don't know why. But what's wrong with that? It's normal, we have a unique relationship. She never congratulated us on the birth of any of our children" Dmytro says that he read online that the singer had given birth to a son with singer Oleksandr Ponomaryov, "I heard that, but I don't think it's true."
After the divorce from his first wife Olena, Dmytro and Nazariy stayed with their father in Chernivtsi. Their mother moved to Kyiv, where she remarried and had another child. Later on, Nazariy Yaremchuk had a new family: his wife Daryna and daughter Marichka. It so happened that after Yaremchuk's death, his children went to court to divide his inheritance. However, the brothers later backed down, "We gave up almost everything. In favor of Marichka. The main issue there was a house located in the city center. In fact, it belonged to all of us. But my brother and I decided to give up the house." The artists spoke about this a few years ago in the ZhVL program. In an interview with OBOZ.UA, Dmytro, recalling that time, said, "Now there are no conflicts between my sister and me."
Dmytro Yaremchuk also recalled how his father raised him and his brother, "My father had a special trait and taught us that we shouldn't think about money but rather about the work we love. And then everything will work out. And when he gave me money for something, he said, "When I'm old, will you give me money?" And it wasn't really about money but an educational moment that you need to take care of those who need it. I said, "Of course, dad." But it didn't happen because he didn't live to see old age. He did not see his grandchildren."
