This development shows the royal's positive progress after nearly three months of outpatient cancer treatment. Charles has been a patron of Macmillan Cancer Support for more than 20 years and it has now been revealed that he has now also joined Cancer Research UK, an organization "dedicated to saving lives through research, influence, and information". Today's visit is aimed at raising awareness of the importance of early detection of cancer.
