Kim Jong-un's daughter may become the new leader of North Korea: her clothes convey eloquent messages. Photos
North Korean leader Kim Jong-un's daughter, Kim Joo-ae, may become his successor, according to not only the media but also fashion experts. According to some reports, although the dictator's little heiress is between 10 and 12 years old, the schoolgirl is already leading an active public life and trying to imitate her father's style.
Over the past year, she has gone out with him about five times, although no one has seen the other children of the North Korean leader. This provided ample opportunity for stylists and fashion experts to analyze her clothes and share their findings with the Daily Mail.
Alison Lowe, industry consultant and MBA Fashion Entrepreneurship course leader, said, "Kim Jong-un and his daughter Kim Ju-ae usually appear in public in identical outfits, which seems to be a tightly controlled tactical approach to how they show themselves to the world."
So, according to experts, the schoolgirl's outfits are not a random collection of things from the closet but carefully selected looks that the family's stylists deliberately make similar to her father's wardrobe.
Kim Jong-un's looks themselves symbolize his power and a certain hierarchy in society. He always tries to stand out from the crowd by wearing dark or monochromatic clothes that look expensive and solid. Leather, long coats and fur can often be seen on him.
Recently, these same elements of the outfit have been noticed on Kim Joo-ae.
Alexandra Wood, the founder of a custom-made clothing store, believes that similar outfits are an attempt to hint at the upcoming transfer of power to the dictator's heiress.
"It strengthens national unity and a smooth transition of power by subtly positioning her as a future leader," the expert explained.
In addition to her clothes, Kim Joo-ae's knowledge of the military, social and other spheres of the country's life indicates that she will take over. Her father first brought her out in 2022, and since then he has often taken her to various important events, appeared on TV, and even introduced her to rocketry.
