Kateryna Tyshkevych was brought out of medically induced sleep: doctors for the first time gave a hopeful prognosis

The famous Ukrainian actress who starred in the TV series "Dr. Baby Dust", Kateryna Tyshkevych, has been suffering from severe headaches for more than 8 years, which has kept her bedridden since last year. For more than a week she has been in intensive care in a serious condition with sepsis. But on December 11, doctors reported for the first time that the 29-year-old actress was feeling better.

Kateryna's husband, actor Valentyn Tomusiak, is always with her in the hospital, and he reported on his wife's condition in his Instagram stories. The woman's condition is still serious, but there is a positive trend - she has already started breathing on her own.

"Now she has been brought out of sleep to see how she can breathe on her own. She managed to do it, so they finally removed the tube from her mouth and put on an oxygen mask," says Valentyn, her husband.

In particular, Kateryna Tyshkevych's physical condition is improving, but, unfortunately, on the emotional level, everything is not so good, Valentyn said.

Doctors are doing everything possible to improve the patient's condition, but unfortunately, the treatment will be difficult and long.

"Finally, today they have at least gained some ground. Katya's condition is still difficult for them, they say that the way is still long, but there is a positive trend," Valentyn shared with the audience.

Earlier, OBOZ.UA wrote that the actress suffers from a functional brain injury that causes severe headaches. After Kateryna Tyshkevych was admitted to the intensive care unit, her husband Valentyn has been intensively raising funds for her treatment. He sincerely thanked everyone who helped.
