American singer Justin Timberlake, who was detained in June for a traffic violation, has become a gallery star. His mugshot, which went viral soon after the incident, was captured in a pop art painting. The photo of the artist became so interesting to Americans that they even lined up to see it.

In the village of Sag Harbor near New York City, USA, the Romany Kramoris gallery "hid" a three-color image of the singer's portrait in a corner. According to Page Six, there were long lines in the hall, and people were taking pictures of the masterpiece.

The artist Godfrey Lohman decided to make a full-fledged painting out of a mugshot, like the ones Elizabeth II had. He made a limited edition. "I thought it was beautiful, it was just beautiful," said gallery owner Romany Kramoris about her reaction when she saw the portrait.

It is known that the artist has already managed to sell "two or three" paintings at a price of 520 dollars (21 thousand UAH) each. The masterpieces were created in the style of pop art and come in three colors: green, pink and blue.

"Green is not my favorite. It looks a little sickly, too many martinis on green," Kramoris joked. The martini appears in her statement for a reason as the singer told the police that he had "just one glass" of this alcoholic beverage.

With reference to the date of June 18, which falls on the night of Tuesday when Timberlake was arrested, the artist signed his work "Tuesday Night."

On the night of Tuesday, June 18, law enforcement officers stopped the singer's car in Sag Harbor. Police report that the artist ignored a stop sign and "did not keep to the right side of the roadway." In particular, he was so drunk that he had significant problems with coordination after the car stopped. Because of this, he had to be arrested and taken to the police station.

Timberlake's mugshot clearly shows his red glass eyes, as evidenced in court documents. The artist convinced law enforcement officers that he had only had one martini, but his physical condition indicated the opposite: the singer could barely stand and refused to take a sobriety test.

"Mr. Timberlake was arrested, detained and held overnight for arraignment in the morning. Mr. Timberlake was arraigned in Sag Harbor Village Court on June 18, 2024 at 9:30 a.m. and released on his own recognizance," the law enforcement statement said.

Timberlake was released without bail. At the time, he was on his current tour, The Forget Tomorrow, traveling around the country. An arrest for a longer period could have ruined all his plans.
