A few hours later, the singer changed into a sparkling disco-style jumpsuit to perform in front of a star-studded audience, including, as we have already mentioned, her friend Naomi Campbell, actress Vanessa Hudgens, tennis player Emma Radacanu, movie star Idris Elba, musician Mark Ronson and others.

In addition, unfortunately, Russians, who are supposed to be censored by the entire civilized world, were also invited to the event. However, Dubai ignores this rule, so the hotel opening was attended not just by Russian stars, but by real Kremlin jesters who support the Putin regime and, consequently, the war in Ukraine.

Among the Putinist celebrities, one could see TV host Andrey Malakhov, actress Ravshana Kurkova, TV host Elena Letucha and her husband, rapper Mota's wife Maria Melnikova, who, by the way, is a native of Lviv, but forgot about it and supported the genocide of her own people together with her lover.

For Jennifer Lopez, this speech turned into a scandal in the United States. But it's not about the Russians, it's about the discontent of the LGBTQ+ community. As you know, the United Arab Emirates is, to put it mildly, intolerant of people with "non-traditional" sexual orientation.

Gay rights activists were shocked that J.Lo "pocketed $5 million and performed in homophobic Dubai", although she had previously spoken out in support of LGBTQ+ people.

"It is very sad that such a longtime ally of LGBTQ+ people as Jennifer Lopez is willing to put money before human rights. Her speech will be a collusion with homophobia, misogyny and general human rights violations - these are not things that Jennifer Lopez supports. She should not go. The Dubai regime is using her to create a more liberal image. It's a cynical exercise, and it's shameful that she goes along with it," the Daily Mail quoted gay rights activist Peter Tatche as saying.
