Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni confessed her love for Antytila and sang the chorus of "Fortress Bakhmut"

The anniversary of the full-scale invasion was commemorated not only by Ukrainians but also by foreign officials. For example, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni visited Ukraine and met with the Antytila band, carrying a gift with her - a medal she dedicated to the resistance movement against the Russians in the bloody war.

Six months ago, she admitted that the song "Fortress Bakhmut" touched her so much that the band became one of her favorites. Therefore, the high-ranking official could not come empty-handed. In turn, representatives of Antytila called Georgia Meloni a great friend of Ukraine on Instagram and made a gift in return - a record player with a record that includes Fortress Bakhmut, which has become a symbol of the resilience of the Ukrainian people.

"During the visit of the President of Ukraine to Italy six months ago, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni admitted that she starts her morning with news about Ukraine and sang the chorus of the song "Fortress Bakhmut", which she fell in love with at the San Remo festival and became a sincere fan of Antytila's music," said Antytila representatives.

As we noted earlier, the Prime Minister did not arrive empty-handed – she wore a badge with the coat of arms of Ukraine and the inscription "Daremo anima e corpo per la nostra liberty," which means "We will lay down our body and soul for our freedom." According to Antitila, it was dedicated to "two years of Ukrainian resistance."

The band admitted that the turntable they decided to give Meloni in return was made in Italy, but the record they put in the present has a Ukrainian soul.

"Taking this opportunity, Antytila also decided to make a gift to a great friend of Ukraine. A vinyl record player made in Italy with a Ukrainian soul - an MLNL record containing the song "Fortress Bakhmut". After all, Italian iron + Ukrainian bravery = an invincible combination," they explained.
