The Ukrainian singer who releases tracks under the name Klavdiya Petrivna but hides her face was in the spotlight when Masha Kondratenko came to receive her Lirum award for Debut of the Year. The stars - or one of them - only confused the fans, who are still wondering who this mysterious author of the hits "I'm Happy" and "Find Me" is.

The author of the song "Vanka-vstanka" came on stage to collect the statuette in a costume associated with Klavdiya Petrovna, but we tried to find out whether Kondratenko is really her alter ego.

Who is Masha Kondratenko?

Before Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the 24-year-old blonde became famous for playing a minor but important role in the TV series School. There, the actress embodied a schoolgirl named Sonya, who had a love affair with one of the key characters.

In addition, in 2020, the young vocalist became a super finalist on The Voice. Kondratenko has already had two pseudonyms that are known on the Internet - Marichka and Masha Krash - but now she releases tracks under her real name.

What is known about Klavdiya Petrivna

The mysterious performer began to rapidly gain popularity only 6 months ago, but her two albums - "Take Care of Me" and "Winter" - have already found themselves in the top Ukrainian charts. The star is hiding behind the image of a girl in a hat, and the only thing we know for sure is that she is blonde.

On the page of the singer OSTY, with whom Klavdiya Petrivna has a joint track, only part of her hair is visible, but interestingly enough, it is long. Maria Kondratenko has a short hairstyle, and has had it for quite some time.

To the point - who is this mysterious singer? According to blogger Bohdan Bespalov, the author of the chart-topping hits is Solomiya, who is only 18 years old and unknown to the general public.

There is also information online that her surname is supposedly Opryshko, and online investigators have even found old photos and a joint video of Solomiya, who is from Lviv Oblast, and the same singer OSTY, with whom Klavdiya Petrivna has a fit.

The hair, voice, and even mutual acquaintances indicate that Klavdia Petrivna is indeed Solomiya, although the team has not yet given official confirmation.

It should also be added that despite the claims of some media outlets that Maria Kondratenko "admitted" that she was hiding behind a pseudonym, the artist did not actually say so. She did post about the award, but this is entirely due to the desire of both artists to draw attention to themselves.
