The famous Canadian singer Celine Dion gave her first interview in several years, where she talked about her struggle with an incurable disease called stiff person syndrome. She explained how she feels because of the stiffness of her muscles and showed how much the disease has changed the artist.

A year ago, the star ended her singing career because she was unable to perform songs. She couldn't hit the right notes. Now the singer has explained what she feels when she tries to sing.

"It's like someone is strangling you. Like someone is pushing your larynx this way. It's like speaking like this, and you can't go any higher or lower," the star said.

Celine Dion feels muscle stiffness not only in her larynx but also in her arms, legs, spine, and other parts of her body. This makes it difficult for her to cook and walk.

"I feel that if I bend my legs, they stay in that position, or when I cook, my fingers and my hands get into a certain position. My legs... they cramp up. At one point I had broken ribs because sometimes when the disease is very severe, it can break several ribs," Dion admitted.
