How Zelenskyy changed after February 24, how often he sees his wife and what he says about the victory of Ukraine: the First Lady gives a frank interview

Olena Zelenska tells how her husband has changed since February 24

First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska spoke about her husband's changes after the outbreak of a full-scale war. According to her, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is very resilient, especially when he sees a clear goal. Currently, this goal is Ukraine's victory in the war and peace for the entire Ukrainian people. This is what does not allow the guarantor to stop today.

Zelenska also shared that she continues to live separately from her husband as he is constantly at the Presidential Office. However, the couple is still able to see each other several times a week. At such moments, the First Lady admitted, they try not to discuss the war and spend more time with their family. The Ukrainian leader's wife shared her frank answers in an interview with Asian media that was posted on YouTube.

"We can't live together all the time either because he is always in the office. But we find opportunities to meet with him and the children once or twice a week. Fortunately, this opportunity exists. Of course, it is very difficult for him... As to me, I try to support him. We have political conversations, no one can avoid it. Of course, I ask him about the war, I want to know something that no one knows, and he will say that tomorrow is the day of victory (laughs - ed.). Unfortunately, I don't get such answers. I think that if there really is such news, I will learn about it together with all Ukrainians from his evening address," Olena said.

According to the First Lady, she and the President talk mostly about children and family in private. During one of the last such dialogues, they discussed, for example, gifts for children for the winter holidays.

"We try to talk more about family, about things that bring us back to the fact that there is family warmth and that there are things we can discuss despite all the terrible things that are happening around us. Today we discussed what gifts we can prepare for children for St. Nicholas Day. We will celebrate on December 6, and we are not ready yet. And then we have to think of something for Christmas and New Year. We haven't come to an agreement yet. I always share news about the children with him. Just like at school, at university, who did or said what. Indeed, when we are together, we try to devote time only to topics that bring us back to normal life for at least a few hours," Zelenska admitted.

As for Volodymyr Zelenskyy's changes after February 24, the First Lady notes that they are visible literally on the face. Zelenska notices that her husband has changed a lot. However, the qualities that were in him before the full-scale invasion help him continue to fight today.

In particular, according to Zelenska, the President does not get distracted by negative emotions when he sees a target. This is about not only his work but also his own mental state. And when it's hard for him, sports, that is, a physical release of stress, helps.

"I think everyone can observe his changes. Even outwardly, you can see how much he is changing. It is an indescribable responsibility to be the President of a country at war. This cannot but have an impact. But I want to note that he is a very resilient person. I have known him for many years and have seen him in various situations. I know that he will endure. He has some sources that keep him going. The most important thing, I think, is his confidence that he has to lead our country to victory and see peace come. This desire drives him and keeps him going. Relaxing is out of the question. No one can relax," the First Lady commented.
