He wanted to see his son, but the boy returned to Ukraine. Alina Shamanska commented on Ruslan Khanumak's departure to the United States during the war

Ukrainian TV host and blogger Alina Shamanska commented for the first time on the flight to the United States of her ex-husband, comedian and star of Kvartal 95 Ruslan Khanumak. The woman notes that she does not know whether he has emigrated to America or only temporarily moved there to live.

Initially, the showman covered his escape abroad with the desire to visit his son, who had been living in the United States since the beginning of the full-scale war. But it so happened that when Khanumak fled to another continent away from Ukraine, his child returned to his homeland. This coincidence made Alina Shamanska laugh during an interview with Lux FM.

"I don't know if the information is true that he emigrated. I did not hear such a statement from his mouth. He and I are not on good terms, both personally and as parents. It is very difficult for me to find a common language with him. Although I am trying to do so for the sake of my son. Unfortunately, I can't be responsible for him..." Alina Shamanska said and added that she did not know any details about Khanumak's escape.

The presenter said that she also did not know about her ex-husband's plans to leave Ukraine, and certainly did not discuss it with him. The complicated relationship between the ex-spouses could also have been an important factor.

Alina Shamanska also admitted that she was trying to raise her son in love and with the understanding that her parents supposedly respect each other. She also added that she had not noticed that her divorce was affecting her child.

"I can't say that it affects the child in any way. For me, the main task is for my son to understand that his parents respect each other, no matter what. But for my son in particular, this information is very important, and I won't specify whether it is true on my part, but my son needs to know this. So I'm trying to protect him so that my negative relationship with my ex-husband does not affect him in any way," the blogger said.

As a reminder, Khanumak was hated by Ukrainians after his scandalous post, where he admitted that he was ready to be a "traitor" in the eyes of some Ukrainians, just to see his son grow up.

Later, he posted another excuse, explaining how he crossed the border. He showed a document approving the postponement of mobilization due to a chronic illness – asthma. Later, the showman deleted the post with an explanation, as mild asthma is not a reason for the postponement of mobilization.
