"He threw me over his shoulder": Ukrainian actress tells how Vitaliy Klitschko saved her from child hooligans
Before the height of her acting career, the popular Ukrainian film actress Vitalina Bibliv worked as a children's animator at the elite Deja Vu restaurant in Kyiv for more than 10 years. The actress admitted that not all of her children were well-mannered, and once she was rescued from an unpleasant situation at work by Vitaliy Klitschko, who had once visited the restaurant.
Vitalina Bibliv spoke about this in an interview with OBOZ.UA. The actress says that it is unlikely that Vitaliy Klitschko will remember this story, but for her, "it was a whole event."
"Just imagine: a world sports legend sitting in our restaurant, eating his first and second courses and compote. It happened in the early 2000s. Suddenly, I fall at his feet: the kids kicked the clown out of the children's room. Once, twice. He asks, "Do you need help?" I awkwardly refuse, but history repeats itself. Then he throws me on his shoulder, brings me to the children and says: "She is my friend! Whoever hurts her will have to deal with me."
The actress says that the Deja Vu restaurant, where the story took place, was not for ordinary visitors. Famous people went to this restaurant for lunch: Andriy Danylko, the Klychko brothers.
Vitalina Bibliv recalls that some of her young pupils are still making themselves felt even now, when they have become adults themselves: "You won't believe it, but a girl came to my performance, who was already married at the time and had a child of her own, and said: "Don't you remember me?" And she began to tell stories from her childhood that only she and I knew. She showed me pictures. There are children who continued to wish me happy birthday for a long time."
