Half-naked contestant from Moldova comments on her loss at Eurovision 2024: you have to be a demon or a nudist

Natalia Barbu, the representative of Moldova at Eurovision 2024, who did not make it to the final, commented on her failure. The singer shared a post in which she harshly criticized the contest and its fans.

The winner of the international festivals Mamaia, Slavic Bazaar, New Wave and Maluri de Prut in Malmö, Sweden, performed the lyrical song "In The Middle". However, the performance did not impress the audience, which apparently upset Barbu, according to her Instagram stories, who has since disappeared.

"I am proud of Moldova! We do not compete with nudist demons! If others think it's better to promote prostitution and don't appreciate human values and the qualities of a work that promotes beauty, then we will! I realized that if you want to win as a human being, it's impossible. You have to be a demon or a nudist," wrote a fan of the singer, and she shared this position on her official page.

She was obviously referring to the contestants from Finland and Ireland, who made it to the finals thanks to their bold and eccentric performances. However, it should be noted that the image of the contestant from Moldova is also hardly restrained. She chose a rather provocative dress that exposed her neckline and leg.

This was the second time the Moldovan artist tried to enter the competition. In 2007, she succeeded, but Barbu took 10th place. This time, the singer did not make it to the final, and her emotions could be easily read on her face.

Along with Barbu, 4 other contestants from Azerbaijan, Iceland, Australia and Poland did not make it to the final. The image designer for the Azerbaijani representatives also has a claim to the vote.

"The fact that men in underpants made it to the final shows how seriously this contest can be taken. The night before last, we watched how art was humiliated," the commentary reads.
