Called old and lazy: Ukrainian singer confessed why she will never communicate with ex-producer Bebeshko again

The producer and singer worked together for 10 years

Singer Mila Nitich, who left her producer Volodymyr Bebeshko amidst a scandal, revealed that after the termination of their collaboration, there was a period when the former partners attempted to reconcile. However, due to an interview given by Bebeshko later on, Nitich decided to cut off all communication with him.

The artist shared this in an interview with OBOZ.UA, mentioning that she currently serves as her producer.

Volodymyr Bebeshko and Mila Nitich ceased working together in 2016, with the singer initiating the creative separation. The conflict unfolded, as Mila Nitich disclosed in the program "Don't Lie to Me," when the singer struggled to attract an audience to her concert at the Ukrainian House.

"It affected an artist who has been on stage for many years. We had a 'debriefing,' and then he uttered this phrase: 'You are not Alla Pugacheva!'. That was the moment I first expressed my desire to leave. He responded, 'Go ahead, but I'll keep the songs and the name.' It was easier for me to let go of my name than to surrender it to him," revealed the singer during the program.

Volodymyr Bebeshko publicly commented on his former protege, suggesting she appeared lazy and always looked older than her age: "She was just breaking through with her vocals. She is the Ukrainian Houston! She was supposed to be a national singer. But she told me she was young. How young are you? 30 is an old woman, and you always looked 40! You're heavy." Bebeshko added that since Mila Nitich's departure, she hasn't produced a single piece of music: "I allowed her to experiment. She is lazy."

Since then, Mila Nitich has lost the desire to establish friendly relations with her former producer. Now the ex-partners do not communicate.

"We tried to restore our friendship, but after an interview in which he spoke very unkindly about me, I decided that we would no longer communicate. It was also offensive because he himself asked not to comment on our cooperation in the press, but when asked about me, he decided that our agreements were not in force," the singer told OBOZ.UA.

The artist says that she is now her own producer and does not regret it: "When Bebeshko was producing, it was different. I was very limited in my decision-making. I couldn't decide for myself; people made decisions for me in many ways. It was difficult because I'm a very strong-willed person, and it's hard to obey without question. But I trusted him then, and I'll say this: for all the pros and cons, I am very grateful to Volodymyr Bebeshko for all the way we have traveled together in ten years."
