Buckingham Palace spoke about the health of Charles III, who has cancer: moving in a positive direction
Buckingham Palace has revealed new details about the health of King Charles III of Great Britain, who was diagnosed with cancer in early 2024. It is noted that after almost a year of the monarch's fight against cancer, positive changes can be noted.
This was reported by NBC News, citing sources close to His Highness. However, despite the king's good health, he will have to continue therapy next year.
According to an insider at Buckingham Palace, the 76-year-old monarch's treatment process is "moving in a positive direction." Charles III's condition remains absolutely "manageable," but all the necessary procedures to overcome cancer will have to continue in 2025.
As a reminder, His Highness's cancer became known in early February 2024. The monarch decided not to disclose what type of cancer it was. It is only known that it was detected during a surgical intervention that the king underwent due to an enlarged prostate gland. Charles III deliberately decided to inform the public about his health to prevent speculation.
For a short period, His Highness suspended his duties to begin the process of treatment. However, the King of Great Britain is now in good health, so he does not avoid official meetings and has returned to work.
