Buckingham Palace gave a special honor to Helena Zelenska on the day of Charles III's coronation. Photo
The historic event - the coronation of Charles III and his wife Camilla - is just hours away. The first lady of Ukraine Elena Zelenskaya could not miss this celebration, so she arrived in London, where she has already had time to communicate with the monarch, Kate Middleton, and other representatives of the royal family. On the day of the ceremony, Buckingham Palace decided to pay tribute to our country, the head of state, and his wife.
On the official page of the royal family on Instagram appeared a photo report from the secular reception. A shot with Elena Zelenskaya, Denis Shmygal, and Charles III is the first in the gallery. They were photographed during a warm conversation (scroll down to the bottom of the page to see the photo).
Elena Zelenskaya appeared in a black suit from a Ukrainian brand, with makeup in nude colors and a brooch from Ruslan Baginsky. She had her hair done neatly and added gold jewelry to the image. In the picture, the first lady and the monarch are smiling and friendly at each other.
"The king and other members of the royal family welcomed heads of state and foreign guests to Buckingham Palace this evening ahead of the coronation," the social media post said. The pictures also show Prince William with Kate Middleton, Jill Biden, and others.
Recall, the coronation of Charles III and Camilla will begin at 13:00 Kyiv time. It will be possible to watch live online broadcasting on British TV channels BBC One, BBC Two, ITV 1, and Sky News or YouTube channel Sky News. The coronation celebrations will last three days.
As OBOZREVATEL wrote earlier, while more than 8,000 people attended Elizabeth II's coronation, only 2,000 people are expected to attend Charles III's ceremony. The event will take place on a smaller scale than in 1953. However, a record sum of £250 million has been set aside for preparations.
