Bookmakers again lowered Ukraine in the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 rankings: what place do alyona alyona and Jerry Heil have

Ukraine has dropped to fifth place in the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 bookmakers' rankings. This is the first time in recent months that Ukrainian representatives - alyona alyona and Jerry Heil - have lost ground so much, losing out to competitors from Switzerland, Croatia, Italy, and the Netherlands.

Currently, the chances of Ukrainian women to win have decreased to 9%, which is 11% less than the leader of the ranking. You can follow the current situation on the Eurovision World website.

The bookmakers have a new favorite: Nemo from Switzerland, who has risen from fourth place to the top in a few days. His odds are increasing every day and have already reached 20%, although the reason for such a rapid increase in odds remains unclear.

The bookmakers' "silver" has been won by the Croatian representative Baby Lasagna. It so happened that the chart-topping artist was considered for the role of an understudy for his country's National Selection, but he impressed the whole world and has a good chance of winning - 16%.

The third place is still held by Italian singer Angelina Mango with her song "La noia". In the last 8 years, she will become the first woman to represent Italy at the song contest. Currently, her chances of winning are 12%.

The fourth participant in the ranking, Joost Klein from the Netherlands, who has 10%, is also not so simple. His entry song Europapa has become the most popular and has garnered the most views on YouTube. Moreover, fans of conspiracy theories are placing their bets on the Dutchman, because exactly 50 years ago, the scenario of the show was almost identical.

Ukraine rounds out the top five. Currently, the gap between our participants and sixth place Belgium is 4%. However, the situation can still change in favor of any country.
