The famous Ukrainian designer Andre Tan expressed his sincere admiration for the appearance of the winner of the Miss Alabama beauty pageant, Sara Milliken. He noted that the 23-year-old plus-size girl's participation in the competition is a sign of increasing tolerance in society.

The fashion designer shared this opinion on his Instagram. He published a post stating: "A woman is not about size, it's about energy, charisma, and charm!"

Despite a large number of negative reviews, the fashion designer noted that Sara Milliken's participation in the American beauty pageant gives him great respect for her self-expression: "She is a beauty! And I am very impressed that people have become more adequate and tolerant now... not all of them... I see that, unfortunately, we still have a lot of work to do to change people's perceptions, but I believe that we will get there!"

On the social network, Andre Tan explained that his main message is not about popularizing obesity, but about respect for people. According to him, everyone has the right to do what they want. No one should have to listen to negative opinions that they did not ask for.

According to the designer, the fact that most clothing brands have expanded their size ranges indicates that people are beginning to accept natural things adequately. He adds that he began to admire plus-size models after participating in the Model XL project, where he finally fell in love with such girls: "Everyone is beautiful, and clothes should emphasize this, not hide it!"
