The place of the funeral was promised to be announced later. The Russian woman's eldest daughter reacted to the news in her blog.

However, doctors' predictions about the recovery of the My Beautiful Nanny star were not at all encouraging. For example, one of the oncologists said a year ago that Zavorotnyuk "had a month, two months at most, left," but she lived for another 13 months after that.

Earlier, information was spread online that Zavorotnyuk had developed partial paralysis of the right side of her body, and later doctors connected her to a ventilator. Recently, there were also rumors in the media that the cancer-stricken star of the "My Beautiful Nanny" series had lost the ability to speak. This was decided after the actress's daughter posted an Instagram story in which she wrote that she was having a hard time not being able to consult with her mother.

A photo of the star, in which she was hardly recognizable, was even posted online. The shot was taken with a camera that records cars on the road.

Political position

Interestingly, in 2019, Zavorotnyuk congratulated Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on his election victory. They had to work together when the actress was still building her career.

"I know what a tireless and enthusiastic workaholic you are on set, how you are 100% involved in every task you face. I am sincerely glad that you are reaching a new level, and that you have already won such a big and important victory. I wish you to exist in this new status with all the energy, dedication, and truthfulness you have, to become a real blessing for your country and the people who have trusted you," wrote "Nanny Vika."

Despite this, her character in the popular sitcom was intended to humiliate Ukrainians. The actress played a "provincial" from Mariupol, whom Muscovites were always mocking.

She also carried out illegal touring activities in the territory of the Russian-occupied Crimea, for which she was included in the "Myrotvorets".
