Sex symbol of French cinema Alain Delon declared incapacitated: 88-year-old actor's children were deprived of the right to care for him

Alain Delon declared incapacitated

French film legend Alain Delon was declared incapacitated by a French court on Monday, January 29. According to the court's ruling, the 88-year-old actor cannot dispose of his real estate independently. From now on, this and other issues related to medical examinations, expenses, etc. will be handled by a state agent appointed by law.

However, the star's heirs – sons Anthony and Alain-Fabien and daughter Anoushka – are deprived of the right to provide him with care, including taking him for medical examinations and interfering with any medical procedures. BFMTV writes about this regarding the words of the woman's lawyer, who called herself the actor's former "companion."

As you know, Delon's children have repeatedly spoken out about their father's "critical" condition. Anthony, for example, said that this Christmas was the "last" for the actor.

Meanwhile, Anushka, who is considered to be the celebrity's favorite child, made a statement that her father, who shares a child with Anthony, "can no longer tolerate the aggressive behavior of his son, who constantly claims that he has gone crazy."

All of this led to a loud scandal and a split in the family, which has already been dubbed the "personal tragedy" of the French cinema legend. All of this led to the lawsuit. Alain Delon's lawyer, in particular, filed a lawsuit against Anthony over his words about the "last" Christmas.

Now, according to the court's decision, the children will not have access to information about the medical condition of their star father, who was declared incapacitated.

"This will allow a third party to help Alain Delon with his medical examinations. The judge deemed it necessary to deprive Delon's children of managing their father's medical examinations," the source quoted the lawyer as saying.

Meanwhile, Anthony has already reacted to the court's decision. He stated: "If this can help set the record straight and stop the lawyers from talking about my father's illness without even reading the documents, that's a good thing. This medical dispute will end once and for all."
