Little is known about the actor's personal life. Prior to this relationship, the actor was married for 17 years to Ksenia Basha, an actress at the Ivan Franko Theater. The couple had two sons together.

According to Viacheslav Dovzhenko, he congratulated his ex-wife, who became a mother for the third time at the age of 40, and even saw her daughter Lelya in person: "Yes, I congratulated her.
