A man bought a flag of Ukraine signed by Zaluzhny for 160 thousand UAH at an auction, but asked for a refund: his wife made a scandal
Ukrainian stand-up comedian Anton Tymoshenko spoke about the situation that occurred after the auction at the Palace of Ukraine. One of the participants of the charity event asked the comedian to return the money for the purchased item.
That lot turned out to be a blue and yellow flag signed by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny. The flag went under the hammer for 160 thousand hryvnias. Anton Tymoshenko told volunteer Serhiy Prytula about this in the fifth episode of the YouTube show "Together and in pieces".
The comedian shared a story about how, after the auction at the Palace of Ukraine in Kyiv, one of the participants began to actively write to Tymoshenko on all social media. "Good afternoon! I was at your concert and bought a flag for 161 thousand hryvnias. But I didn't coordinate this step with my wife, we had a fight and there may be a divorce," the man's message read (scroll to the bottom of the page to see it).
"That's why I'm asking you, because I'm a huge heel, that you return the money to me, and I'll return the flag to you," Anton Tymoshenko added. The comedian contacted the volunteers and returned the money to the participant, who then sold the flag at an auction for 110 thousand hryvnias.
Serhiy Prytula shared his misunderstanding of the situation. The volunteer said that if he had been in the place of the stander, he would have done something different. "Soon armored vehicles will be brought to Ukraine, which were paid for with the money from this auction. Go to the military and ask them to break off a piece of armor for you," Prytula would have said.
