"A lump in my throat": Tina Karol admits how she feels about her husband, who died 11 years ago
For the first time in a long time, singer Tina Karol has spoken about her feelings for her husband Yevhen Ogir, who died in 2013 from stomach cancer. The artist still cherishes his memory, which is probably the reason why she hasn't started an affair with anyone in 11 years.
She remembers her late husband with trepidation when she comes across old photos of them together. However, sometimes the memory of a loved one is erased. Tina Karol spoke about this in the UNZIP podcast.
"There is no gravity in love. A person who has experienced a loss, I can honestly tell you, feels the breath, the touch, the tremor when remembering, the lump in the throat, and the tears. This cannot be induced artificially. All the memory that is still preserved... but it is erased... Or when you watch a photo or video..." the singer admitted.
She also explained her meaning of the word "love". For her, it's definitely not physical love for someone, but admiration for a person.
"In my paradigm, love is a passion for a person, there is no physical attraction in any case. It is admiration for a person first and foremost. I can be in love with a person, but I will never say so, because I am in love with this talent, with its qualities. But it is very rare to have a conversation on this topic, because it can cause offense," Karol added.
