A horse jumped on Elizabeth II's granddaughter Zara Tindall: the moment was caught on video
A member of the British royal family, 43-year-old Zara Tindall, was involved in an unpleasant incident. During a photo shoot on Surfers Paradise Beach in Australia, a horse jumped on the granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth II.
The dangerous moment was captured by the camera lens of one of the eyewitnesses. According to the Daily Mail, fortunately, the rider was able to avoid serious injuries as she bounced off the animal in time.
Zara Tindall came to Australia to take part in the Magic Millions event, which includes auctions of thoroughbreds. As the royal is an ambassador of the annual event, she joined the PR event. The granddaughter of the late Queen of Great Britain posed for the camera, standing in front of three horses with riders sitting on them. At one point, the animal suddenly jumped up and hit Zara Tyndall on the shoulder. Luckily, she managed to jump away in time, so the incident did not result in any serious injuries.
It is worth noting that this is not the first time the royal has been in an unpleasant situation with these animals. Since Zara Tindall is a professional rider, she often participates in competitions. Recently, during one of these events, she fell off her horse but was also able to avoid serious injury.
In the summer of 2024, a traumatic event also happened to Zara Tindall's mother, Princess Anne, the sister of King Charles III of Great Britain. Her Highness was engaged in her favorite but dangerous hobby, horseback riding. Suddenly, the royal lost control of the animal, which, according to the assumptions of her subjects, caused her to hit or throw off the rider.
Princess Anne suffered a concussion and "minor injuries" as a result of the incident. She was then taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol.
