Ukraine has approved new rules for payments to servicemen. In particular, payments to conscripts, cadets and instructors are being increased. But the additional 30 thousand hryvnia for all defenders will not return.

This is stated in the bill number 9342, which was adopted in the second reading on June 28. 311 people's deputies voted for it, said a representative of "Golos" Yaroslav Zheleznyak. The document must now be signed by the speaker of parliament and the president of Ukraine.

Zheleznyak explained that servicemen would still be paid 30,000-100,000 hryvnias a month. However, these funds are issued in accordance with the procedure established by the Cabinet, that is, as it is now. Thus, mass payments of 30 thousand hryvnias to servicemen were not returned.

The conscripts will now be paid extra 6,000 hryvnias per month. Cadets will be paid extra 2,350 UAH/month. The minimum additional payment threshold for instructors is 15 thousand UAH. In this case, conscripts will be able to switch to mobilization at will.

In addition, for the wounded who have been declared unfit for military service and enlisted in the disposition of their respective commanders, two months of payments are introduced for the last position held. From the third month until the end of the disposition they will receive an additional payment of 201 00 UAH .

Severely wounded in treatment, prisoners of war and those missing in action will receive an additional monthly payment of 100,000 UAH. Those who have died as a result of injury will receive a lump sum payment of UAH 100,000.

Some servicemen will be paid an additional fee of 30,000 to 100,000 UAH in the old way, but not all. There will be the former distribution in proportion to the time of fulfillment of combat tasks. The draft law does not provide for additional payments to those who are not in the combat zone.

The issue of leaves was also regulated. Thus:

  • Annual leave for military personnel is up to 30 days, up to 10 days may be given in addition for family reasons;
  • For cadets: up to 10 days of winter leave and up to 20 days of summer leave;
  • For conscripts: annual leave of up to 30 days;
  • Continuous medical leave - not more than 4 months.

"Soldiers from among those called up for military service during mobilization who have not undergone basic military training are not allowed to take part in combat operations. The minimum period of basic military training is at least one month," Zheleznyak added.

As reported by OBOZREVATEL, in Ukraine after the end of the war servicemen will be paid an amount of money depending on the circumstances. At the same time, the money will not receive only conscripts. So, the amount of payments will depend on the position in which the serviceman was.
