Boris Ludwig Pistorius is the German Minister of Defense and a politician of the Social Democratic Party.
Brief biography
Boris Pistorius was born on March 14, 1960 in the German city of Osnabrück.
From 2006 to 2013 he was mayor of Osnabrück.
Since February 2013 he headed the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Sports of Lower Saxony.
On January 17, 2023, he was appointed Minister of Defense in the German government of Olaf Scholz after Christine Lambrecht announced her resignation.
