Viktor Yanukovych's plane landed in Belarus

The plane of former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych arrived in Belarus on May 24. His Dassault Falcon 900C (RA-09617) landed at 12:50 a.m. at Gomel Airport.

This was reported by the monitoring group Belaruski Gayun. Analysts do not specify who exactly could have been on board the plane and whether the fugitive president was there.

The last time Yanukovych visited Belarus was at the beginning of the full-scale invasion, in March 2022. At the time, intelligence sources reported that the Kremlin was preparing him for a special operation, in one of the scenarios of which Yanukovych was to be declared "president of Ukraine."

Earlier it was reported that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin is ready to start negotiations to end the war in Ukraine. His condition is that Kyiv recognizes the "borders" along which the front line now runs. According to the dictator, Russia's success in the war is now enough to "sell" the victory to the Russian people.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, Ukraine has begun the process of transferring the seized assets of Mezhyhirya, formerly the residence of President Viktor Yanukovych, to state management. After that, the property will be transferred to the management of the state institution Park-Monument of Landscape Gardening Art of National Importance "Mezhyhirya".
