Mercenaries of the Russian private military company "Wagner" were spotted 2 km from the border with Poland. They have already made an attempt to break through from the territory of Belarus.

In this regard, the Polish side is considering the option of complete closure of the border. This is reported by Telegram-channel NEXTA.

In particular, the "Wagnerites" were noticed by local residents at the recreation center "Format" in the village of Piaschatka, located less than two kilometers from the Belarusian-Polish border. It is noted that the former prisoners drink alcohol in large quantities.

Meanwhile, the Polish authorities said that the mercenaries had tried to enter the country from Belarus.

According to the deputy head of the Interior Ministry of Poland, Pawel Jablonski, Warsaw is strengthening the protection of its borders in anticipation of new provocations.

"Obviously, there will be attempts of "Wagnerites" to get into Poland. We expect new attempts of attacks on the border, possibly also new attempts to violate our airspace," he said.

Recall, Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda said that some fighters of PMC "Wagner" were deployed near the Lithuanian state border. The head of state emphasized that the presence of "Wagnerites" in Belarus creates an additional risk factor for the security of his country.

Earlier OBOZREVATEL reported that propagandists from the TV channel "Russia-1" often speculate about hypothetical successes on the front with NATO countries. State Duma deputy Kartapolov assessed the prospect of seizing control of the Suvalki corridor connecting the borders of Lithuania and Poland.
