Iran accused Israel of crossing red lines and threatened war

Iran's President Ebrahim Raisi threatens Israel again

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi accused Israel of "crossing red lines" and spoke of the "crimes of the Zionist regime." According to him, this could force Iran to intervene in the war between Israel and Hamas.

Raisi also accused the United States of supporting Israel and hinted that militants' attacks on American bases are a response to Washington's calls for third parties not to interfere in the conflict. The Iranian president wrote about this in his profile on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Raisi again threatened Iran's entry into the war between Israel and Hamas.

"The crimes of the Zionist regime have crossed red lines that can force everyone to take action," he wrote.

The Iranian president also lashed out at the United States, accusing it of supporting Israel.

"Washington asks us to do nothing, but they continue to provide broad support to Israel. The United States sent a message to the Axis of Resistance, but received a clear response on the battlefield," Raisi said.

Iran calls anti-Israeli and anti-American proxies like Hamas and Hezbollah the 'axis of resistance to the Israeli occupation.'

This is not the first time Tehran has threatened Israel. In particular, on October 17, Iran threatened this country with "preventive" resistance actions in the coming hours. The threat was voiced by Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian, who spoke of "consequences" for Israel, which continues to strike Hamas terrorists in the Gaza Strip.

Two days earlier, Iran had sent warnings to Israel through the UN . The Iranian mission to the United Nations stated that Israel must stop "war crimes and genocide" in the Gaza Strip. If Israel ignores this warning, they say, the situation could spiral out of control with "far-reaching consequences."
