The elimination of the militant was reported late in the evening on October 15. It is noted that Muataz Eid was eliminated "as a result of intelligence efforts by the Shin Bet security agency and the Military Intelligence Directorate."
In addition, the IDF said that its fighter jets and attack helicopters continue to attack terrorist targets in the Gaza Strip.
During the day, the Israeli army attacked about 250 military targets, most of them in the northern Gaza Strip, the report said.
