How many Poles are ready to voluntarily join the army in case of Russia's attack on their country: unexpected figures
In the event of an armed attack by the terrorist country of Russia on Poland, only a small proportion of citizens would be willing to voluntarily join the army. At the same time, one in three Poles would decide to evacuate their place of residence.
According to a sociological survey, only 15.7% of Polish citizens would be ready to defend their country with arms. This is reported by Rzeczpospolita.
In the survey, 29% of Poles said that in the event of a full-scale war, they would engage in volunteer activities. Another 37.4% of people said they would evacuate to safer places. In particular, almost 12% of respondents are ready to leave their home country.
It is also worth noting that 11.6% of Poles could not predict how they would behave in the event of an armed attack by Russia, and 22% of people said they would do nothing at all. It is noteworthy that people aged 30-39 are mostly planning to leave the country in the event of a war.
By the way, Poland decided to conduct such a survey against the backdrop of statements by the head of the National Security Bureau, Jacek Siewier. According to him, Russia is preparing for a confrontation with NATO countries. He warned that the North Atlantic Alliance has three years to prepare for a confrontation with Russia.
As reported by OBOZ.UA, Polish President Andrzej Duda convened a meeting of the National Defense Council. The country's National Security Bureau believes that Poland has three years to prepare for a possible confrontation with Russia.
Earlier, Duda said that Ukraine's accession to the European Union and NATO is in the national interest of his country. Moreover, our country's accession to these blocs is extremely important for Warsaw.
