An exclusive video of the DIU's work in Sudan has been released

Soldiers of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine did conduct ground operations in Sudan. There they fought against forces supporting the Russian private military company Wagner.

OBOZ.UA has exclusive footage of one of these secret operations by Ukrainian intelligence officers. The sources also told its details (to watch the video, scroll to the end).

As a reminder, on September 20, CNN attributed a series of drone strikes and a ground operation in Sudan to Ukraine's military intelligence. It was about attacks on the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militants, who are supported by Wagner.

There was also footage of a small drone dropping explosives from the air on a facility in Sudan. It was said that this was a "Ukrainian" method of attack.

At the time, the Main Directorate of Intelligence stated that it could neither confirm nor deny the information about the participation of Ukrainian intelligence officers in the event under discussion.

Today, OBOZ.UA editor-in-chief Orest Sohar published on his Telegram channel "Orestocracy" footage from sources in the special services showing the work of the Main Directorate of Intelligence in Sudan.

"My sources in uniform have passed on this video, thus confirming the information. Ukrainian special forces are countering the Sudanese Rapid Support Forces, backed by Wagner," he emphasized.

Not long ago, the head of Ukraine's military intelligence, Kyrylo Budanov, confirmed the participation of the Main Directorate of Intelligence in operations on the African continent. He also warned that "Ukraine will destroy Russian war criminals in all corners of the world."

As OBOZREVATEL reported, on April 25, fighting resumed in Sudan between the armed forces and the Rapid Support Forces group. This happened against the backdrop of a three-day ceasefire announced earlier.
