At least five drones flew into Belarus from Ukraine overnight
On the night of December 21, the Russian terrorist army launched more than 110 kamikaze drones across Ukraine. Some of them traditionally flew into the territory of Belarus.
Due to the attack of Russian drones, Belarusians raised their aviation. This is reported by the Telegram channel "Belaruski Gayun."
During the night, at least 5 incursions of Russian Shahed-type kamikaze drones into Belarus were recorded. All of these UAVs, which were used by the Russians to attack Ukraine, entered from the territory of Chernihiv region.
The first entry of a group of two kamikaze drones was at 23:28. One drone flew to Bragin, and the other flew to Horodnya, heading for Cheretianka and then Gomel.
After that, the drones flew into the territory of Belarus at 23:34, 00:06, and 01:29. It is worth noting that the UAV that flew at 00:06 from Slavutych to Belarus made several circles in the border area, constantly flying in circles from Komarin to Chernihiv.
At 2:40 a.m., the Belarusian Air Force launched fighter jets. According to preliminary reports, the Belarusian military did not shoot down the Russian drones.
As a reminder, in the morning of December 21, the city of Kazan (Republic of Tatarstan, Russia) was attacked by unmanned aerial vehicles. The Russians claim that one of the UAVs allegedly hit the Azure Skies residential complex. A fire broke out at the scene.
Earlier it was reported that the UAVs were targeting the Gorbunov Aviation Plant. As a result of electronic warfare and air defense, some of the drones hit high-rise buildings.
