"We will be able to open new horizons." Lukashenko congratulates Putin, who is killing Ukrainians, on his birthday and wishes him success for the "good of Russia"
On October 7, the self-proclaimed President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko congratulated Russian leader Vladimir Putin on his birthday. In his greeting, he praised the Kremlin leader, who continues the war of aggression and kills Ukrainian civilians, for deeply understanding Russia's "historical mission" and "strengthening its international authority."
The greeting was published on the official website of the Belarusian dictator. Lukashenko also emphasized that Belarus highly appreciates the determination and consistency of the Russian dictator's policy and is ready to "open new horizons" together.
"Your deep understanding of Russia's historical mission, and personal responsibility for the fate of the people and the Fatherland have become a reliable guarantee of strengthening its statehood and sovereignty, building up its socio-economic potential and international authority," the congratulatory message reads.
Alexander Lukashenko wished Putin "good health, long life, as well as prosperity and success in his state activities for the benefit of Russia."
He also praised the Kremlin leader for his "decisive approach to further strengthening the Belarusian-Russian allied relations and strategic partnership, which has contributed to a significant strengthening of economic integration."
"I am confident that together we will be able to open new horizons and outline promising areas of cooperation that meet modern challenges and ensure the expansion of multifaceted ties between our countries," the self-styled head of Belarus emphasized.
Earlier it was reported that Belarusian dictator Alexander Lukashenko said that his main task is to prevent Belarus from being drawn into a war, he will "do everything to exist peacefully with Ukraine." The politician also assured that Minsk is ready to help Ukraine recover from the war.
To recap, Lukashenka said that in the event of a NATO attack on Belarus, Minsk and Moscow are ready to use nuclear weapons. He suggested that this would trigger World War III.
