"We are ready": in the Ukrainian Navy, it was stated that this year's winter will be milder due to the reduction of resources by the Russian Federation

However, it is still too early for Ukrainians to relax

This year's winter in Ukraine is expected to be milder than last year's. Ukraine has prepared for it, and Russia no longer has as many resources as it did at the beginning of a large-scale war.

However, it is too early for Ukrainians to relax. This was stated by Dmytro Pletenchuk, a spokesman for the Ukrainian Navy, on the Kyiv24 TV channel.

He noted that this is the second winter for Ukrainians in a full-scale war. In this regard, Ukraine already has experience, and this year it has been better prepared.

Pletenchuk clarified that, in addition to infrastructure, the threat response system has also been prepared.

He also pointed out that Putin's army no longer possesses the resources it had at the beginning of the full-scale war. This includes a shift in tactics for utilizing these resources.

"This winter should be easier for us than the last one," the spokesman emphasized.

At the same time, he urged Ukrainians not to relax and not to ignore the alarms.

"But we should not relax; we should not ignore the air alerts. The missile threat is serious. And when discussing Kalibr missiles, the Russians have a logistical gap. They redeployed their ships to Novorossiysk, while the missiles remained in Sevastopol," Pletenchuk added.

Earlier, a representative of the Defense Ministry's Main Intelligence Directorate, Andrii Yusov, stated that Russian attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure could occur in winter, but there may be fewer than last year. The Russian army is still accumulating missiles for future attacks on Ukrainian cities.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, the spokesman for the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Yurii Ihnat, warned that, at this stage of the war, the enemy mostly relies on single missile strikes, suggesting that Russia is likely stockpiling weapons for future large-scale attacks.
