The Russian occupation forces have carried out a massive shelling of civilian facilities of Ukrzaliznytsia in the city of Dnipro and its region. There are wounded among the railroad's employees, and they are being treated.

This was reported on the Telegram channel of Ukrzaliznytsia. Rescuers are currently working at the damaged facilities, and information about the victims is being clarified.

The work of the Dnipro station has been suspended. Long-distance and suburban trains are temporarily not running to Dnipro station. Nyzhniodniprovsk and Horiainove are the temporary endpoints.

Trains scheduled to arrive in Dnipro will be delayed and passengers will disembark at Horiainove station for the following routes

  • No. Kyiv - Zaporizhzhia,
  • No. 80 Lviv - Dnipro,
  • No. 120 Kyiv - Zaporizhzhia.

After disembarking passengers at Horiainove station, trains heading to Zaporizhzhia will take a detour.

In addition, a video from the impact site in Dnipro immediately after the missile attack on April 19 was posted online. The footage shows smoke rising over the city, with debris scattered everywhere around the high-rise building that was hit by the missile strike. On the spot, rescuers were extinguishing a fire that had started in the building as a result of a missile strike.

As a reminder, on the night of April 19, the aggressor country Russia first attacked Ukraine with Shahed-136/131 kamikaze drones, and then with cruise and ballistic missiles. In the morning, the enemy attacked Dnipro and the region, and explosions were heard in Odesa.
