Ukrainian defenders destroyed 7 Russian SRG boats in the south

The Ukrainian Armed Forces continue offensive operations in the southern direction, while the occupants are trying to reconnoiter the situation in these areas. However, when the Russians go on a mission, they never return.

The Ukrainian defenders managed to destroy 7 Russian sabotage and reconnaissance group boats. This was reported by the speaker of the South OC Natalia Humeniuk on the air of Espresso TV.

"The enemy sends their sabotage and reconnaissance groups on boats to reconnoiter what is going on the left bank. 7 such boats were destroyed during the day. That said, every time the enemy group goes on a mission, it never returns," the speaker said.

Humeniuk also said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to advance in the Kherson region, on the left bank in particular. The attempts of the occupants to move deeper on the right bank stopped.

"Attempts of the enemy to come closer to hit on the right bank have stopped. They are endangering themselves by trying to move there. They may explode on the mines that they laid or be exposed to our counter-battery means" the speaker added.

The occupiers launched 398 airstrikes on the territory of Ukraine in August. They used 167 missiles and 231 attack drones. In total, Ukrainian Air Defense Forces managed to destroy 152 units of the enemy's strike drones, which is 65.80% of the total number of UAVs used during the attacks.

The USA will send armor-piercing munitions containing depleted uranium to Ukraine for the first time. They will be launched from American Abrams tanks, which are to be delivered in the coming weeks.
