Ukrainian soldiers continue to reclaim their homeland from Russian invaders. Border guards from the Steel Frontier Brigade of the Offensive Guard have made advancements in the Svatovo direction.

They successfully seized the enemy's forward positions. A fragment of the battle, captured by one of the participants, was shared by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

"Live assault on enemy positions. Border guards of the Steel Frontier Offensive Guard Brigade have penetrated deep into the enemy's defense and taken control of advanced positions in the Svatovo direction," reads the commentary in the video.

The released footage depicts border guards approaching the enemy's defense line and engaging in a small arms battle with the Russian invaders.

Earlier, the head of City Military Administration Vitalii Barabash reported on the new offensive by the occupiers in Avdiivka. He highlighted that the invaders are attempting attacks from various directions, relying heavily on infantry as adverse weather conditions limit the extensive use of military equipment.

Simultaneously, the Russians have intensified the deployment of combat aircraft, launching assaults on the city and Ukrainian soldiers' positions with anti-aircraft gunships. Additionally, there has been a notable increase in the invaders' use of cluster munitions in recent days.
