Ukrainian Armed Forces eliminated 870 Russian occupiers and destroyed nine enemy drones overnight – General Staff

On March 9, Ukraine's defenders eliminated at least 870 Russian invaders at the front. In total, 156,990 soldiers of the aggressor country's army have become "Cargo 200" as of today.

In addition, over the full 379 days of the war, our soldiers have "demilitarized" thousands of armored and automotive vehicles and hundreds of Russian Armed Forces aircraft. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on it.

In addition to hundreds of Putin's invaders, the day before, the Defense Forces disarmed 34 cruise missiles in the sky (907 since the beginning of the enemy's full-scale invasion) and nine operational and tactical UAVs (2107), and shot down one aircraft (304).

Ten Russian artillery systems (2,475), seven tanks (3,448), and six armored combat vehicles (6,742) were destroyed at the front.

The soldiers also burned six vehicles and tankers (5337), three MLRSs (491), two air defense systems (256), and three units of special equipment (240) of the enemy.

Only the number of sunk Russian warships/boats remained unchanged - 18.

As OBOZREVATEL reported, the Security Service of Ukraine Special Forces destroyed the Tor-M2 and S-300VM surface-to-air missile systems of the Russian occupation forces in one of the frontline areas. To eliminate the enemy equipment, the defenders used kamikaze drones.
