Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to hold and expand foothold on the left bank of the Dnipro - OC "South"

Ukrainian Defense Forces soldiers continue to hold their positions on the left bank of the Dnipro River in Kherson region and expand this foothold. After two days of silence, the enemy resumed assault operations and, having gathered forces, launched four attacks.

They were unsuccessful: our military repelled the invaders' assaults, so the Russians had to retreat to their original positions. This was reported by the Operational Command "South".

The enemy suffered losses in both killed and wounded.

"Counter-battery fighting continues in the operational area of the Southern Defense Forces. The enemy's main goal remains to drive our units out of their positions on the left bank of the Dnipro River," the statement said.

Russian troops keep up the pace of active aerial reconnaissance and put pressure on the Ukrainian Armed Forces with artillery shelling. The invaders are also using a large number of attack drones of various modifications with destructive elements.

"During the combat day, the enemy did not stop terrorizing the civilian population of the frontline territories of Kherson region and the territory of Ochakiv community in Mykolaiv region: 64 FPV drones, 19 Lancet attack UAVs and 25 drops of 45 fragmentation munitions from UAVs of various modifications were recorded. A civilian was wounded and a private car damaged as a result of an enemy shrapnel drop in Antonivka, Kherson region," the South military command said.

As OBOZ.UA reported, earlier on the left bank of the Kherson region, the enemy conducted maneuvers, pulling new units to the front line from the rear. For their part, the Ukrainian military inflicted manpower losses on the occupiers.
