Ukrainian aerial reconnaissance showed occupants' unsuccessful attempt to break through AFU's defense in the Avdiivka direction. Video

Russian occupants continue their attempts to encircle Avdiivka. During one of the numerous assaults, Russians tried to break through Ukrainian defense near Krasnohorivka village in the Avdiivka direction with a column of armored vehicles.

However, thanks to the coordinated work of artillerymen from several brigades, the column was destroyed, and the occupiers fled on foot. The defeat was recorded by aerial reconnaissance soldiers of the 31st Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the video is posted on the unit's Facebook page (to view it, scroll to the end).

"Soldiers of the 31st Mechanized Brigade, 110th Mechanized Brigade, 116th Separate Tank Brigade, and the Hetman Bohdan Khmelnytsky Separate Presidential Brigade are working. Thanks to coordinated actions, we managed to destroy the column of occupants who tried to break through our defense near the village of Krasnohorivka. Let's bring victory closer together!" the statement reads.

In the footage taken by the brigade's aerial reconnaissance, about two dozen armored vehicles are seen driving across the field towards the positions of Ukrainian soldiers. Here, artillery starts to fire at them. Some of the "armor" is on fire, while the occupants themselves are trying to turn around and escape, but they are prevented from doing so by accurate strikes that continue to "mow down" the column.

In order to escape, some of the invaders jump out of the damaged armored vehicles and start to flee on foot.

Earlier, the network showed what Avdiivka looks like now. Russians continue to destroy the city and its civilians with constant bombardment and shelling. Now there is not a single intact building in the town.

At the same time, about 1,600 civilians remain in the city, who refuse to evacuate for one reason or another.
