Last year, Ukraine created strategic weapons that can hit targets on the territory of the aggressor state of Russia at a depth of up to 2,000 kilometers. In general, the Ukrainian defense industry is now able to produce not only UAVs, but virtually all types of conventional weapons.

This was stated by Advisor to the President of Ukraine Oleksandr Kamyshin at the 7th German-Ukrainian Business Forum, Ukrinform reports. Speaking at the event, he noted that such weapons were developed and manufactured in Ukraine.

"Last year, we actually received weapons that can reach Russia and hit enemy targets at different depths of up to 2,000 kilometers. This is a product that appeared in Ukraine, developed and manufactured in Ukraine. Today, more than ten companies have such products, and it is not just one company," said the President's advisor.

According to him, more than 200 UAV manufacturers in Ukraine currently produce various types of drones - those that destroy the enemy at sea, in the sky and on the ground. In 2023, there were only a few of them.

In addition, there are certain developments in countering the Shahed. Such equipment is already in use, but Kamyshin assured that it will be heard about over time.

"This year, Ukraine will produce three times as many weapons as the state can finance. Next year, the parity will be about the same, but the market volume will reach $30 billion," he said.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, earlier President Volodymyr Zelensky said that as of the end of October, one million UAVs were already at the front. They were purchased at public expense. This supply will be increased, he assured.
