Trump's advisors presented him with a plan to end the war in Ukraine

Advisors to US presidential candidate Donald Trump have presented a plan to end the war in Ukraine. It provides for the restriction of military aid if Kyiv does not negotiate with Moscow.

At the same time, Trump warned Moscow that any refusal to negotiate would lead to increased American support for Ukraine. This was reported by Reuters.

According to Trump's national security adviser Keith Kellogg, if he wins the presidential election, the United States will be ready to put forward a number of demands to both Ukraine and Russia. According to the plan drawn up by Kellogg and another adviser, Fred Fleitz, the ceasefire would be based on the front lines at the time of the start of peace talks.

Fleitz emphasized that Trump reacted positively to this proposal. At the same time, he added that if he wins the election, Trump could still change his mind.

At the same time, Trump's spokesman, Stephen Cheung, said that only statements made by Trump personally or by authorized members of his campaign staff should be considered official. However, the strategy outlined by Kellogg and Fleitz is a detailed plan of Trump's associates.

"We're telling the Ukrainians: you have to come to the table, and if you don't come to the table, the support from the United States will dry up. And we are telling Russian President Vladimir Putin: he must come to the negotiating table, and if you do not come to the negotiating table, we will give the Ukrainians everything they need to kill you on the battlefield," Trump's advisors said in their plan.

Also, according to this plan, Trump's associates intend to persuade Moscow to come to the negotiating table if the promise of Ukraine's membership in NATO is postponed for a long period of time. Moreover, Fleitz hinted that Ukraine might have to make territorial concessions to the aggressor country, Russia.

Some analysts have expressed concern that Kellogg and Fleitz's plan could give Moscow an advantage in the negotiations. Former Assistant Secretary of State Daniel Fried said that the so-called Kellogg-Fleitz plan is aimed at Ukraine's giving up all the territory currently occupied by Russia.

As a reminder, former US President and Joe Biden's current rival in the upcoming election, Donald Trump, said that Biden should not promise Ukraine to join NATO. Trump believes that this is why the war allegedly "started."

Earlier, Trump promised to end the war in Ukraine quickly if he won - within "24 hours," even before taking office.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, Donald Trump's public statements indicate his opposite position. Recently, during a campaign event in Detroit, the politician criticized the extent of support for Ukraine and, distorting the facts, called President Volodymyr Zelensky "the best sales agent of all politicians." Trump promised that if he wins the election, he will "resolve the issue" before he "enters the White House as president."
