Trump promises to "settle" the war in Ukraine even before his inauguration

Trump vows to stop war in Ukraine even before returning to the White House

The controversial former president of the United States, Donald Trump, said that if he wins the upcoming presidential election, he will allegedly "settle" the war in Ukraine even before his inauguration. He stated that he would be able to "restore peace through resolve."

Trump made this statement on Sunday, January 21, during his meeting with supporters in New Hampshire. The event was broadcast on the YouTube channel CNN-News18.

Trump said he would "settle" the war in Ukraine started by Russia even before he officially enters the Oval Office. He revealed that he will take advantage of the fact that he knows Russian dictator Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy "very well."

"Even before I go into the Oval Office, and some time after we win the presidential election, I will settle this terrible war between Russia and Ukraine. I know Putin, I know Zelenskyy very well, I know both of them. We will settle it, it has to be done. There is bloodshed there now. We will restore peace with determination," the controversial politician said.

According to Trump, Europe will have to increase its spending on Ukraine equally with the United States as they are now incomparable. He blamed Europe for giving Ukraine ten times less money than the United States.

The former US president also reiterated that Russian dictator Putin would never have launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine if he had been president of the United States, not Joe Biden.

"This should not have happened, no one should have been killed. There is zero chance that Putin would have done this if I had been president. He would not have done it, I talked to him," Trump said.

As reported, Zelenskyy invited Trump to Ukraine, who has a chance to become the Republican candidate in the US presidential election, once again. Trump had previously said that if he became president for the second time, he would "be able to stop the war in 24 hours," so our guarantor invited him to do so.
