After a nighttime Russian air attack on June 1, traffic across the Dnipro hydroelectric power plant was temporarily blocked in Zaporizhzhia. The Patrol Police offered drivers alternative detour routes.

They promised to inform about the resumption of traffic later. The details were posted on the Telegram channel of the Patrol Police of Zaporizhzhia region.

"Traffic aross the Dnipro HPP is temporarily blocked. The detour is carried out via the Arch Bridge on Khortytsia Island (Serhiy Tulenin Street - Sich Street - Tahanska Street). Also, through Novi Mosty and Khortytskyi district. Take this information into account when planning your route. Stay tuned for updates on the resumption of traffic," the statement said.

The Patrol Police did not specify the reasons for the traffic blocking. However, at night, Zaporizhzhia fought off a massive enemy air attack.

Thus, at 02:17, a missile threat was announced in the region, and at 03:05 the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Ivan Fedorov reported explosions in Zaporizhzhia.

At 03:28, there was a threat of Shahed drones in the region, and at 03:33, another explosion occurred in the regional center.

In the morning, Fedorov reported that the invaders had attacked an energy infrastructure facility.

"At night, Russians massively attacked Zaporizhzhia. They hit one of the energy infrastructure facilities. There is destruction. More than 20 residential buildings and social institutions were also damaged. People were not injured. We will restore the buildings. We stand together and help the Defense Forces. We will definitely win," he wrote.

To recap, at night, Russia attacked Ukraine with both Shahed drones and missiles . Air defense systems were working in a number of regions.

This time, the enemy again tried to hit energy facilities - and sometimes successfully. On the morning of June 1, Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko said that Russia had attacked energy facilities in five regions of Ukraine: Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Donetsk, Kropyvnytskyi, and Ivano-Frankivsk.
