Satellite imagery confirms that Russian military warehouses near the village of Oktyabrsky, Yeysk district, Krasnodar region, Russia, were hit. It is claimed that the enemy was storing Shahed-type kamikaze drones there.

Relevant photographic evidence was published by the "Schemes" project. The images from the Planet Labs satellite on October 11 show the consequences of the Ukrainian drone attack: damage to warehouse buildings (including the destruction of the roof of one of them) and traces of fire.

The operation (by the Ukrainian Navy and the Security Service of Ukraine) was carried out on October 9. This was confirmed by the General Staff of the Armed Forces.

"According to available information, about 400 attack drones were stored there. According to the results of objective control, an accurate hit on the target was recorded. Secondary detonation was observed on the territory of the facility," the agency informed.

On October 9, Russian media also reported explosions in the Oktyabrsky district near Yeysk. However, local authorities did not comment on the consequences of the strike and assured that "the drone attack was successfully repelled."

The territory of the damaged warehouse belongs to the 1st Squadron of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles of the GROM "Kaskad'' Brigade (military unit 35666-B) of the Russian Aerospace Forces.
